- academic teaching. I have taught at California universities (SCU and SJSU) since 1999, and in Sweden (University of Göteborg) from 1991-1995. My field is communication, specifically the areas of media and cultural studies, and intercultural communication. Details are in my cv.
- diversity training and workshops. I have extensive experience teaching intercultural communication. Because I always ground learning in participants' life experiences I provide real, life changing, opportunities to challenge racism, ethnocentrism, and sexism. - corporate intercultural training. I lead international individuals and families who have relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area through training modules preparing them for life in California.
